A Variety Of Artists And Works

Aircraft are not all that are featured, there are ship paintings, seascapes by Derrick Dickens as well as artists like Mark Poission, David Botha, Tom Hamilton, Eugene Hurter, Paul Botes, Louis Audie, Wessel Marais and Ian Herslet. The gallery also features wild life art by Bernard Sergeant, Keith Joubert and Rob Teeling

Derrick does commissions; the most popular are paintings of owner’s aircraft or of aircraft that were flown by the person.

On Many occasions wives, mothers and daughters have said to Derrick that they are at a loss as to what to give their men folk as a present, and his suggestion of giving an aircraft painting has gone down like a lead balloon, however some took his suggestion and without exception their present was rated as one of the best presents their men have received as against the usual hankies, ties and aftershave lotion.
